Fatal Crash on Highway 221 Claims Lives of Two Women, Coroner Identifies Victims

Two women have been identified as the victims of a deadly crash on Highway 221 in Chesnee, South Carolina. The crash occurred when a Jeep Grand Cherokee attempted to turn left onto Highway 221 and collided with a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. The driver of the Toyota was injured and taken to the hospital, while the Jeep had four occupants, with the driver and two passengers also sustaining injuries. One passenger of the Jeep died at the scene, and another died at the hospital. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident.
