Fiery Overnight Crash in Lexington Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Injured

One person died and another was injured in a single-vehicle collision in Lexington, Kentucky, early Sunday morning. The vehicle hit a tree, overturned, and caught fire. The fire was quickly extinguished, and two females were extracted from the vehicle. One of them, 46-year-old Jessica Elaine Patterson, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
