Multiple Fatal House Fires in Pennsylvania Identified by State Police

A deadly fire broke out at a residence in Cornplanter Township, Venango County, on Sunday morning, killing 46-year-old Branton Cornor, of Oil City. The fire destroyed the two-story wood-framed home, and two occupants escaped with burn injuries and smoke inhalation. The fire originated at the front of the structure on the first floor and spread upward through the second floor and attic space. The damage is estimated at $145,000.00, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
