Multiple Injuries and Fatalities in Wrong-Way Crashes on PCH in Long Beach

A driver was killed and several others were injured in a major wrong-way crash in Long Beach, California. The crash involved four vehicles, with a man driving an SUV heading westbound on Pacific Coast Highway at Junipero Avenue and colliding with three vehicles in the eastbound lanes. The SUV driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while three other men were sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Dashcam video captured the violent crash, and detectives from the Long Beach Police Department's Collision Investigation Unit are leading the investigation.
