Tragedy Strikes Charlotte Construction Site in Massive Fire.

A construction worker died and another went missing after a massive 5-alarm fire erupted at a North Carolina work site. The crews rescued 15 workers from the fast-moving fire, but two workers were unaccounted for as teams continued to try to get the inferno under control. One of the construction workers unaccounted for was later confirmed to have died. Two fire crews needed to be rescued themselves when they became trapped in the burning building. The workers were building a luxury apartment building complex that was set to open in spring 2024.
