Woman Faces Charges for Abandoning Dog at Airport Before Vacation

A woman in Pennsylvania has been charged with animal cruelty after intentionally abandoning her dog at an airport before boarding a flight to Mexico. The woman tried to bring her French bulldog on the flight but was denied boarding due to not meeting the criteria for an emotional support animal. Surveillance cameras captured her leaving the dog unattended in a stroller near the airport's parking lot. The dog was found unharmed and is now in a foster home. The woman admitted to leaving the dog behind but claimed she made arrangements for her mother to pick it up, which was contradicted by text messages. She has been scheduled for a court hearing in October.
