Former CIA software engineer Joshua Schulte was sentenced to 40 years in prison for leaking classified files to Wikileaks and possessing child sexual abuse images and videos. The leaks, known as the Vault 7 disclosure, revealed CIA hacking tools and severely damaged the agency's ability to collect foreign intelligence. Schulte, who also faced charges related to child pornography, was described by prosecutors as a "traitor and predator" motivated by revenge against the CIA.
