"15-Year-Old Charged as Adult in Times Square Shooting of Tourist"

A 15-year-old, identified as Jesus Alejandro Rivas Figueroa, has been arrested for allegedly shooting a tourist in Times Square. He faces charges including attempted murder, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon. The shooting occurred during a shoplifting attempt, and Figueroa allegedly fired at a security guard and a police officer while fleeing the scene. He was apprehended in Yonkers by the U.S. Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force and is also wanted for an armed robbery and a shots-fired call in midtown.
