"3 San Antonio Police Officers Charged with Murder in Fatal Shooting of Woman"

Three San Antonio police officers have been charged with murder after shooting a woman experiencing a "mental health crisis" in her apartment. The officers were suspended without pay and arrested on murder warrants in the shooting of Melissa Perez, 46, after she refused police orders to exit her apartment. Perez was shot at least two times after throwing a glass candlestick and swinging a hammer at the officers.
