3-year-old involved in multiple shootings, leading to arrests and charges.

A 3-year-old child accidentally shot and injured two people, including a man wanted for murder in Illinois, at an apartment in Lafayette, Indiana. The victims were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The child's mother was one of the victims, and the other was a friend visiting the apartment. The friend, Trayshaun Smith, was arrested on an active murder warrant issued out of Cook County, Illinois. It is unclear how the child accessed the gun or what type of weapon was used.
