72-Year-Old Killed in Thanksgiving Noise Dispute in Lauderdale Lakes

A 72-year-old Florida grandfather, Hureleyon McLean, was shot and killed by his neighbor during a dispute over loud music on Thanksgiving in Lauderdale Lakes. The altercation occurred after McLean went to speak with the neighbor, who lived in the apartment below. The suspect, who remained at the scene and claimed self-defense, allegedly showed no remorse and threatened McLean's wife. The case is under investigation by the Broward County State Attorney’s Office to determine if charges will be filed.
