Albuquerque faces spike in homicides over the weekend.

Austin Police are investigating a homicide after a man was found dead following a house fire in the 9000 block of Meridian Oaks Lane. The police believe that the fire was caused by something unusual and are working with arson investigators and homicide detectives to determine whether it was an accident or something else. A witness who was inside the home at the time of the fire is speaking with investigators. Austin Police ask anyone with information to call the homicide tip line.
