APD links legally-purchased firearms to 17 shootings in Albuquerque.

Adin Kellner, 25, is the main suspect in a string of 17 shootings across Albuquerque, according to the Albuquerque Police Department. Kellner legally purchased at least 10 guns, but most of them ended up in the hands of relatives, friends, and others involved in the shootings. Five people were injured, and 163 rounds were fired in connection to the shootings. Kellner and his brother were arrested in connection to a shooting in March, and Kellner was sent a "custom notification" two years ago as part of APD's Violence Intervention Program.
