Arrest made and gun recovered in shooting of NYPD officer.

A man was arrested by the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force in the Bronx for shooting a rookie NYPD officer in Queens on Wednesday. The shooter was apprehended after a dispute over a bus seat, where he brandished a gun at another passenger. The suspect shot Officer Brett Boller, who was chasing him down the street, in an attempt to evade arrest. The shooter's jacket, mask, and sweatshirt were later found at a nearby parking garage. Boller is recovering in the hospital after successful surgery. Mayor Eric Adams blamed the incident on the rampant use of guns on city streets.
