Arrest made in 'ambush' killing of Florida Microsoft exec with ties to ex-wife's husband.

Mario Fernandez-Saldana, the husband of Jared Bridegan's ex-wife, has been arrested and indicted for first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, solicitation to commit a capital felony, and child abuse related to the February 2022 murder of Bridegan. Prosecutors say Fernandez-Saldana was integral to the solicitation, conspiracy, and murder of Bridegan. Bridegan was fatally gunned down in what police call a "planned and targeted ambush and murder" while driving home with his 2-year-old daughter in the back seat. Fernandez-Saldana could face the death penalty.
