Arrest Made in Fairfield Homicide Case

Edwin Weeks, 62, was found dead in his Fairfield home from "sharp force trauma," and Raheem Shamar Goodwin, 22, has been charged with murder in the case. Goodwin was arrested after a chase during which he intentionally drove his car off the road, barricaded himself inside, and set the car on fire. The homicide adds to the surge of homicides and accidental deaths in Maine, making November one of the most violent months in the state's history.
