Arrest Made in Fatal Shooting of 14-Year-Old in Hickory Hill

A woman, identified as Ashantia Dillard, has been charged with first-degree murder, attempted murder, and aggravated assault after allegedly being involved in a shooting at an apartment complex in Hickory Hill, Memphis. The incident resulted in the death of a 14-year-old boy and left two other victims injured. Surveillance footage showed Dillard pointing at the second victim before a man with an AR-style gun shot him and other bystanders. Dillard admitted to pointing at the victim, leading to the shooting. She is scheduled to appear in court on Monday morning.
