Arrest Made in Killing of 11-Year-Old Texas Girl Found Under Bed

An 18-year-old man, Juan Carlos Garcia-Rodriguez, has been arrested and will be charged with capital murder in the killing of 11-year-old Maria Gonzalez in Pasadena, Texas. Maria's body was found under her bed, and the investigation revealed that she had been sexually assaulted and died from asphyxia due to strangulation. Garcia-Rodriguez was living in the same apartment complex as Gonzalez but had since left. He was apprehended in Shreveport, Louisiana, and is awaiting extradition to Texas.
