"Arrests in Upper Darby Teen Stabbings and Delco Mosque-Related Homicides"

Marson Weh, 24, has been arrested and charged with the murder of 15-year-old Michael Garr in Delaware County. Garr, a student at Upper Darby High School, was found with a fatal stab wound on April 21, 2023. Despite efforts from neighbors and medics, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Surveillance video and evidence linked Weh to the crime, as well as to an unrelated attack on a pregnant woman. Weh, who was also wanted in Ohio for assault and vehicle theft, has been sentenced to 9 ½ years for those charges and will face additional charges for Garr's murder upon extradition to Upper Darby. The motive for the murder is still undetermined, and the community has shown an outpouring of support for Garr's family.
