Arrests Made in Outrageous Teen Abuse Case in Georgia

The family of Trent Lehrkamp, a 19-year-old who was abused and humiliated by teenage bullies at a party in Georgia, criticized authorities for downplaying the severity of the abuse at a press conference. While five people, including three teenagers, were arrested in connection to the case, the family objected to the district attorney's characterization of the abuse as voluntary and praised by the perpetrators. Disturbing videos and photos of the abuse were shared on social media, sparking a national outcry. Lehrkamp is currently recovering at an out-of-state facility.
