Arson suspect arrested in Portland apartment fires while facing eviction.

Portland police have arrested a resident of the May Apartments, Garrett A. Repp, in connection with the apartment fire that occurred on May 16 in the Goose Hollow neighborhood. Repp is facing charges of first-degree arson, recklessly endangering another person, and first-degree criminal mischief. Court records show that Repp had been evicted from the building in March and continued to live there until he was forcibly removed in May. The fire severely damaged several floors of the more than 100-year-old building, and lower floors had significant water damage.
