Artesia Teen Accused of Killing Newborn

A 19-year-old woman, Alexee Trevizo, has been charged with the murder of her newborn son inside a hospital bathroom in Artesia. Trevizo denied being pregnant when she was admitted to the hospital for lower back pains, but a lab test showed she was pregnant. After locking herself in a bathroom, staff found the bathroom covered in blood and a trash bag containing a newborn boy who showed no signs of life. Trevizo is being charged with first-degree murder.
