Atlanta Shooting Suspect Arrested and Charged with Murder After Manhunt

The woman killed in the Atlanta mass shooting has been identified as a 38-year-old CDC worker. The suspect, Deion Patterson, opened fire at Northside Hospital, shooting five women, killing one and leaving four others in critical condition. Patterson, who has a history of mental health issues, was arrested after a manhunt. Another shooting at a McDonald's in Georgia has also taken place, with a gunman at large causing "multiple" casualties. Gun control activists have called for action to be taken to prevent further mass shootings.
