Body Found in Renton Woods During Search for Missing Woman

Seattle police found a body in a wooded area in Renton, which they believe is connected to the disappearance of Leticia Martinez, who was last seen at a Mariners game on March 31. Brett Gitchel, the man she went to the game with, has been arrested and charged with first-degree attempted murder, first-degree kidnapping, second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm, first-degree theft, and second-degree arson. Martinez's son was also attacked by a man believed to be Gitchel. The investigation is ongoing.
