Over 40 alleged members of the Heath Street Gang in Boston have been charged with racketeering conspiracy, drug offenses, firearms offenses, and financial crimes, including COVID fraud and organized retail theft. The gang is accused of using children as lookouts, bragging about murders in music videos and text messages, and engaging in violent activities. The arrests were made following an investigation involving multiple law enforcement agencies, and the gang is said to have operated in and around the Mildred C. Hailey apartments in Boston's Jamaica Plain section for many years.
