Boston Police Officer Shot, Suspect in Custody After Robbery in Progress.

A Boston police officer was shot multiple times in the foot and buttocks while responding to a robbery in progress in the Roxbury neighborhood. The officer approached the suspect, who was armed with a firearm, and was fired upon several times. The wounded officer was taken to Boston Medical Center for treatment, and two other police officers were also injured in the incident. The suspect has been taken into police custody, and the injured officer's injuries are not considered life-threatening.
