Boyfriend arrested for murder of woman found shot in head at Red Sands.

Christopher Maya shot and killed his girlfriend, Michelle Morales-Nakaza, in the Red Sands area by shooting her three times in the head because he suspected she had taken his wallet while they slept in a car. Friends of the couple became suspicious when Morales-Nakaza went missing and Maya allegedly confessed to killing her to them. A witness told detectives that Maya was excited when he gave graphic details about what Morales-Nakaza’s body looked like after he shot her. Maya has been charged with murder.
