"Boyfriend Charged with Horrific Murder and Dismemberment of St. Paul Woman"

Joseph Steven Jorgenson, a Maplewood man, has been charged with second-degree murder in connection to the disappearance and death of his girlfriend, Manijeh "Mani" Starren. Surveillance video showed Jorgenson chasing Starren into her apartment and no video evidence of her leaving. Jorgenson was seen accessing her apartment multiple times and was captured on video carrying duffle bags and a suitcase from her apartment. Investigators found human remains in a storage unit rented in Jorgenson's roommate's name. Police suspect Jorgenson may be connected to another missing person case.
