The victim, Laura Kempton, was found dead in her apartment in 1981. After re-analyzing DNA samples from the crime scene, authorities identified the suspect as Ronney James Lee, who died in 2005. If alive, Lee would have been charged with first-degree murder. The case has been officially closed and marked as solved, providing closure for Kempton's family.
