Bryan Kohberger Refuses to Enter Plea in Idaho Murder Case

Bryan Kohberger, the former Ph.D. student accused of killing four University of Idaho students, declined to enter a plea to the charges against him. A trial was set to begin in October in Moscow, Idaho. Investigators have said in court records that they linked Mr. Kohberger to the killings with the help of DNA found on a knife sheath at the crime scene, as well as through surveillance video that showed a car similar to his near the house around the time of the killings. The hearing on Monday started the clock on a 60-day period in which prosecutors must decide whether to seek the death penalty in the case.
