Caught on Camera: CATS Bus Shootout Between Driver and Passenger

The Charlotte Area Transit System has released surveillance video from inside one of its buses after a shootout between a passenger and the bus driver on May 18. The incident started when a passenger started a verbal argument with the bus driver, and then pulled out a gun. The bus operator also pulled out a gun, and they both shot at each other. The video shows two other innocent passengers onboard when it all unfolds. The passenger faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injuries, communicating threats, and carrying a concealed firearm. The driver was fired by CATS, but is not facing any charges for now.
