Chicago store manager uses firearm to stop robbery and kill suspect.

A store manager in Chicago shot and killed a would-be robber who flashed a gun and demanded money from the register. The manager, who is a valid FOID cardholder, pulled out his own firearm and fired shots at the robber. The suspect was transported to the hospital in critical condition and later died from his injuries. The incident comes as many Chicago residents have become concealed carry holders, with at least 44 incidents reported where individuals with a gun have thwarted an attack or other crime.
