CHP officers and nurse charged in DUI arrest death.

Seven CHP officers and a nurse are facing criminal charges, including involuntary manslaughter and assault, in the death of a 38-year-old man who was pulled over for driving under the influence in 2020. The man reportedly resisted submitting to a blood test and officers allegedly used force to get him to comply, during which he repeatedly said "I can't breathe" and no officers helped him. The officers and nurse are accused of failing their legal duty to the man, causing his death.
