Cleveland Mass Shooting: Suspect Arrested, Businesses Impacted, and Hospital Incident

A group of people attempted to barge into MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland after victims from a mass shooting were taken there. The intruders were quickly confronted by MetroHealth Medical Center Police and were unable to gain access to the Emergency Department waiting area or treatment area. The hospital took in a total of 11 gunshot victims, nine from the mass shooting and two from an unrelated shooting. Hospital officials praised the quick actions of their staff and police officers in ensuring the safety of patients and providers.
