Colorado Springs LGBTQ+ sanctuary attack suspect pleads guilty to killing 5.

Anderson Lee Aldrich pleaded guilty to five counts of murder and 46 counts of attempted murder in a mass shooting at a Colorado Springs LGBTQ+ nightclub last year. Aldrich also pleaded no contest to two counts of bias-motivated crimes. The defendant faces life in prison on the murder charges under the plea agreement. The U.S. Justice Department is considering pursuing federal hate crime charges. Aldrich had been arrested over a year before the attack for threatening their grandparents and vowing to become “the next mass killer.”
