Colorado Springs Teen Arrested for Alleged School Shooting Plot

A teenager named William Whitworth, who identified as "Lily," was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal attempt to commit murder in the first degree, criminal mischief, menacing, and interference with staff, faculty, or students of educational institutions. The suspect was found sleeping in her room after a family member called authorities claiming their sister "threatened to shoot up a school." The suspect reportedly said she was about a third of the way from carrying out the shooting and had planned the layout of the school, active firearm planning, and starting a manifesto. The suspect's bond was set at $75,000.
