Court records reveal Hopkins daycare tragedy and Burnsville homicide link

A search warrant details a Hopkins in-home daycare tragedy in which a 41-year-old woman and her 7-year-old daughter were stabbed to death, and a 41-year-old man died from an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound; six other children were unharmed. A parent who called 911 said he heard screaming and witnessed the man stabbing the woman and the child, and investigators found a screwdriver at the scene.
