Crumbley parents to stand trial for manslaughter in Oxford shooting case, court affirms

The Michigan Court of Appeals has upheld involuntary manslaughter charges against James and Jennifer Crumbley, the parents of the Oxford High School shooter. The ruling means that the four charges against each of them will proceed in Oakland County Circuit Court. The judges ruled that there was enough evidence to send the case to trial, as the Crumbleys had enough information that the shooting was foreseeable. Ethan Crumbley killed four of his classmates and wounded seven others in November 2021.
