Deadly DC Carjacking Spree Claims Lives of Man and Two Dogs

Daeyon Ross, a 22-year-old suspect, appeared in court after a deadly carjacking spree in the DC area. He pleaded not guilty and is facing charges of assault on a police officer and carjacking in DC, as well as murder and animal cruelty charges in Maryland. The crime spree involved three carjackings, an attempted carjacking, a homicide, and the killing of two dogs. Ross has a history of probation violations and previous robbery convictions. He was held without bond for an open bench warrant and a $100,000 bond for the fugitive case. Ross is expected to be extradited to Maryland.
