Deion Patterson charged with murder and assault in Atlanta shooting

Deion Duwane Patterson, the suspect in the Atlanta medical facility shooting, has been charged with murder and four counts of aggravated assault. One person was killed and four others were wounded in the shooting. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) employee, Amy St. Pierre, was among the victims. The four wounded women are between the ages of 25 and 71. Three of them remain in the intensive care unit of Grady Memorial Hospital. Patterson is expected to make his first court appearance later on Thursday.
