A Delaware state trooper, Dempsey R Walters, has been indicted for allegedly assaulting two teenagers in retaliation for a ding dong ditch prank played on his girlfriend. Walters is accused of punching a 15-year-old boy, leaving him with a fractured eye socket and a concussion. The trooper had previously clashed with another teenager four days before the incident. Dashcam and body camera footage captured the altercation, including Walters turning off his body camera before allegedly assaulting the teenager in the back of a police vehicle. Walters has been suspended without pay and is facing a six-count indictment for unlawful assault.
