Divine Intervention: Man's Prayer Thwarts Ax-Wielding Carjacker

A man in St. Louis managed to deter an ax-wielding carjacker by asking him to pray with him during the attempted carjacking. The incident was captured on surveillance video, and the suspect, Romel S. Taylor, has been charged with first-degree attempted robbery. Taylor is also facing charges in two unrelated cases, including a bank robbery where he allegedly handed a teller a note demanding money and a carjacking where he threatened the victim with a knife.
