Driver Caught in Shocking Hit-and-Run Incident: Pulls Body off Windshield and Flees

A hit-and-run driver in Maryland fatally struck a 28-year-old man and was caught on camera pulling the victim's body off his car's windshield two miles away from the crash scene before driving off. The victim, Franklin Mendez, was found with injuries on the side of the road after being involved in an unrelated minor collision. Instead of stopping, the suspect continued driving with Mendez lodged in his windshield. The suspect eventually pulled over to remove the body before fleeing the scene. Police are urging the public to provide any information about the suspect, whose car will have visible damage. Mendez was pronounced dead at the scene.
