East Austin Homicide Claims Man's Life Overnight

Austin Police are investigating the 28th homicide of 2023 after finding a man's body with obvious trauma to the upper body off Manor Road in East Austin. Officers were called to a report of gunshots being fired at the intersection of Manor Road and Rogge Lane, and additional calls and information led them to the 6200 block of Breeze Way where they found the victim. No suspect has been detained or taken into custody at this time.
