Escaped Arkansas ex-police chief and murderer recaptured after weeks on the run

Grant Hardin, a former police chief serving a 30-year sentence for murder and rape, was recaptured after escaping an Arkansas prison nearly two weeks ago. He was apprehended near Moccasin Creek with the help of law enforcement, including a Border Patrol tactical team, after donning a corrections officer uniform to escape. Hardin's escape prompted a large-scale manhunt involving helicopters, drones, and K9 units. Authorities confirmed his identity through fingerprint analysis, and he is now back in custody.
