Ex-news anchor Frank Somerville arrested twice in one night in California

Former news anchor Frank Somerville was arrested twice in one night in Berkeley, California, for criminal threats, battery, public intoxication, DUI, and probation violation. Somerville allegedly showed up drunk at his father's home and refused to leave, causing a fight with his brother. He was arrested for DUI in December 2021 and was taken off the air by KTVU after slurring his words during a live newscast in May 2021. Somerville has dealt with alcohol abuse and driving while intoxicated in the past.
