Exhumations and Autopsies Surrounding Murdaugh Property Raise Questions

The body of Stephen Smith, a teenager found dead near the Murdaugh property six years ago, will be exhumed for a private autopsy after a GoFundMe campaign raised $43,000. Smith's death was originally ruled a hit-and-run accident, but a homicide investigation was opened after Murdaugh was charged in the murders of his wife and son last year.
