Exonerated Texan Arrested Again for Murder

Lydell Grant, who was exonerated in May 2021 after serving seven years in prison for a murder conviction, has been charged with murder again in an unrelated incident in Houston. He is accused of fatally shooting a fellow motorist following a minor roadway collision. Grant was taken into custody on Friday and his bond is set at $1 million. In 2012, he was convicted of killing another man, but new DNA evidence led to his exoneration in 2021. The investigation into that murder led to the arrest and confession of another man.
