A suspect has been arrested in connection with a police chase that led to a helicopter crash in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, killing two officers. Deandre Bessye was booked on charges including two counts of manslaughter. The chase began in Baton Rouge and involved an air mission through the Baton Rouge Police Department. The helicopter crashed after the suspect's car was abandoned and the suspect fled on foot. The wreckage was not discovered for several hours. The officers killed have been identified as Corporal Scotty Canezaro and Sergeant David Poirrier.
