Fairfield Teens Admit Guilt in Spanish Teacher's Murder

Two Iowa teenagers, Willard Miller and Jeremy Goodale, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the beating death of their Spanish teacher, Nohema Graber, at Fairfield High School. The attack was possibly over a dispute regarding grades in Graber's class. Miller admitted helping plan and carry out the killing but denied hitting Graber. The teacher's body was found in a Fairfield park in November 2021. Prosecutors agreed to recommend a sentence between 30 years and life in prison with the possibility of parole for Miller and between 25 years and life with the possibility of parole for Goodale.
